Barbara Kohler is a Licensed Professional Counselor as well as an Ordained Minister. Barbara uses a Christ centered approach in working with clients. Applying Biblical counsel - in a grace oriented style - has proven to bring about lasting change in those who desire emotional healing. Areas of Practice: Marital issues, PTSD, Sexual Abuse, Anger Issues, Rejection, just to name a few.
Barbara Kohler is ordained through Evangel Fellowship International (EFI), Conway, SC. She is an active member of her local church – Harvest Church, Washington, NC, an EFI affiliate. She has over 15 years professional counseling experience in several different venues. She has ministered in eastern United States from New York to Florida as well as overseas in Italy and Greece. In 2005, Barbara’s first recording project was released entitled Through the Eyes of the Father and is available through www.indieheaven.com. Her goal was to write and sing music that heals the heart.
Barbara is a native of northern Pennsylvania. She earned her MS in Rehabilitation Counseling from East Carolina University, Greenville, NC in 1995. She also earned an Associate of Theological Studies from Greenville International School of Theology in 2004. Barbara has lived in eastern NC since 1985.
